To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Your consideration is appreciated, if you can not make your scheduled appointment, please contact us so that we can reschedule you for another time.
For new clients, please plan on arriving 5 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment. This is so you can fill out our Welcome Registration Form and pass on any records that you may have in your possession. Please note the Welcome Form is also available for for you to download on our site and complete in advance. It can be faxed to us at (855)224-0007 or sent via eMail to: email@example.com or simply brought in the day of your appointment. Please also remember to ask your previous Veterinarian to fax or eMail your pet's records in advance, this typically consists of a vaccination history which is important so we know what is upcoming, overdue or even missing as we treat your pet going forward.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A "drop off" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so Dr. Steve can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a cal lto go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy around new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier before entering the waiting room.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, CareCredit, cash and personal checks.
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expenses strike as well. Manomet Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. IT takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments You can either apply at our hospital, where we will call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at: www.CareCredit.com(http://www.carecredit.com/). We offer the 6 month no interest CareCredit plan, 24,36,and 48 month extended plans for fees of $1,000 and up, and the 60 month plan for $2500 and up.
